At Rest Haven we have numerous options that will provide the right fit for your needs. Alzheimer’s Care varies according to the individual. It is critical to find the best care for your loved one and to also understand that one’s long-term needs most certainly will change. Our continuum of care at Rest Haven allows you to prepare for long-term care.
Is your loved one currently doing okay at home? Maybe he or she needs help with meals and medication? They could benefit from our home health care services.
Do you worry that your loved one will leave the stove on? That he or she isn’t eating three meals a day? That he or she will call you at two in the morning because they’re out of milk? Or, maybe you work during the day and there’s no one to help provide care? We have Assisted Living facilities that preserve and enhance one’s independence while providing the utmost Christian care for the whole person.
What if Mom, Dad or your loved one is forgetting to eat? What if they’re showing signs of confusion over the normal daily activities of their life? Can they recall where they are? Do they go for walks and forget how to return home? Are they displaying overall signs of forgetfulness? This kind of progression most likely will require our Skilled Nursing Care or our Gilead Memory Impairment Care.

The Gilead name was chosen from the text of the familiar hymn, There Is a Balm in Gilead, which provides assurance that there is a solace, relief, and soothing in the midst of suffering. Therefore, the name Gilead relates to our ministry of love and care that soothes those in need. Yes, there is comfort at Rest Haven.
