You can give to Rest Haven Christian Services in many different ways. Every single donation makes a difference in the lives of our residents. All donations can go toward the Bountiful Tree of Life, which represents the love you have for your family, friends and our ministry.
If there is a certain aspect of our ministry that you would like to see your donation benefit directly, please specify such a request. If it makes you more comfortable, please contact Scott Studebaker at 708.342.8129 or scotts@provinet.com to discuss the specifics of said designation.
In our quarterly Tapestry publication we include the names of loved ones who have been honored by way of memorial gifts. Honoring a loved one while helping our ministry is an easy way of assisting Rest Haven’s noble cause. Planned gift giving is an opportunity for you and your loved one(s) to help Rest Haven at different points in time. Rest Haven hosts a handful of fundraisers each year. Events such as Torchlight, Pastor’s Masters and the Rest Haven Open would not be possible without your generous sponsorship. We also encourage organizations to further our mission by joining our community of faith. By combining our efforts, we can continue to provide for our current residents while also taking the necessary steps to accommodate the future needs of our aging population. The Rest Haven Bountiful Tree of Life stands as a testimony of love for family and friends. The tree is currently displayed in the entrance vestibule at Rest Haven Central in Palos Heights, Illinois. This original tree sculpture stands over seven feet tall and features a hand-carved wooden trunk that leads up to the branches and brass leaves. This is a very beautiful and appropriate way to recognize, honor and memorialize family and friends.
Each leaf on the tree is of life-giving importance. Just as a leaf changes water, air and sunlight into food and life for the tree, your monetary gift, represented by the brass leaves on this tree, will be transformed into programs, which will result in a higher quality of life for those entrusted to our care.

You can become a part of this unique Bountiful Tree of Life through contributions and donations to the Endowment fund. Please consider the gift opportunities that are available. The range for a single leaf through tree sponsorship is $2,000 to $25,000. Within this range the categories are as follows:

Leaf (Patron): $2,000 - $3,999
Leaf (Benefactor): $4,000 - $7,999
Apples: $8,000 - $9,999
*Sculptured Stone: $10,000 – plus
Bountiful Tree of Life: $25,000

* Sculptured stones surround the base of the Tree of Life. These may be placed with your inscription for a gift of $10,000 or more.

The final category is the “gift of vision” for the planting of another Bountiful Tree of Life. The gift amount for a tree is $25,000.

We plan on eventually featuring a Tree of Life at every one of our facilities! When in total bloom, each tree will raise $1.2 million dollars.

The gift category you select will be engraved on your leaf and will be adjusted over the years as your future gift giving passes you from category to category.

Leaves can be obtained in a variety of ways, including cash gifts, gift annuities, pledge gifts, bequests, planned gifts, corporate gifts, foundation gifts, among others.
