The purpose of Rest Haven’s Educational Institute is to
- Develop a qualified and Mission driven staff at all levels
- Develop a common voice and consistent standard of resident care throughout the organization
- Demonstrate Rest Haven’s appreciation and respect for all staff.

This purpose is achieved at the Educational Institute by providing quality education to all staff members so that they can go back to the facilities and provide quality care to the residents and their families.

The Educational Institute is very busy conducting orientation seminars to all new employees and providing ongoing education to all our established employees.

In addition, the Educational Institute provides educational offerings in the areas of management, communication, customer service, dementia, ergonomics, life skills, clinical skills, leadership and many other areas. These offerings help equip our staff with the essential tools needed in handling the complex issues facing the elderly today.

The Educational Institute is equipped with classrooms of various sizes to meet the needs of not only Rest Haven Christian Services, but also to provide space to various churches and organizations for large meetings and retreats.
