Zeeland, Mich. (Friday, June 8, 2007) “We just got the results back from this year’s Confidence Surveys,” says Jeff Zylstra, Administrator at Royal Atrium Inn, a local Assisted Living campus. “And I’m very pleased.”
The Confidence Survey program is administered by Life Services Network as part of the Quality First initiative of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA). As a member of AAHSA and its Michigan affiliate, Royal Atrium Inn is fully committed to Quality First, and the annual surveys help them meet or exceed their quality goals. The senior-friendly surveys are administered anonymously every year to rank residents’ satisfaction with their living environment, on-site staff, and management services. The feedback is quantified and forwarded to each participating facility for review and follow-up.
“Our scores continue to rise in all major areas,” says Zylstra. “That’s a testament to the quality of staff we have here.” The major areas critiqued in the surveys include environmental services, quality of life, staff, management, security, dining, and amenities. Zylstra’s pride in his staff was confirmed by a number of survey comments: “Your caring staff is amazing!” said one resident. “Everything you do is always best,” wrote another.
Royal Atrium Inn’s participation in the Confidence Survey program allows them to display a “Seal of Confidence” certificate, which indicates they have completed the survey process and are committed to continuous quality improvement in care and services. AAHSA encourages consumers who are shopping for a senior living community to look for the Seal of Confidence.
Royal Atrium Inn is located at 400 Parkside Drive in Zeeland, Michigan. For more information about Royal Atrium Inn and AAHSA’s Quality First initiative, contact Jeff Zylstra at 616-772-1248.
