Royal Park Place celebrates Summer

Hot dogs for $1.00 and other old-fashioned fun make the Summer Picnic an annual Zeeland gala

Zeeland, Mich. (Monday, July 23, 2007) – At 5:00pm on Monday, July 23, Zeeland residents are invited to descend upon Royal Park Place, dollar bills in hand, to enjoy an old-fashioned picnic. Hot dogs, potato chips, and beverages will be available for $1.00 until 6:30pm, while Carol Folkert will entertain picnickers with accordion music and singing.

The Macatawa Bank Ice Cream Wagon will serve dessert from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, and at 6:30pm musicians John and Amy Amos will become “The Life of the Party.”

Jeff Zylstra, Administrator at Royal Park Place, assures visitors that not only the grounds but also the condominiums themselves will be open for touring during the picnic. “Anyone who has been curious about the kind of service-enriched homes we have available here,” he says, “is welcome to come and take a look.”

Royal Park Place, an independent retirement community, is located at 500 Parkside Drive in Zeeland, Michigan. Call 616-772-2224 for more information.
